Checking in, finally. I'm having a busy life, but not an especially fun one. Still going to the dentist for all my crown replacements. Yesterday had a 4 hr appt. and got the final 2 crowns prepped. Now I just have to go back in a couple weeks to get the final crowns cemented in and on Monday for a cleaning. They can't finish my final bridge until late December or early January. I like the dentist and her staff, but it's always freezing in the office. I wear a sweatshirt with a jacket over that and still freeze. I have them put the heavy x-ray shield over my legs to keep them warm. Yesterday I looked down as I was laying there and noticed that I had 2 different tennis shoes on. At least they were both dirty white, LOL.

My Mom is about the same, hard to get along with and very weak in the legs. I go over on weekends and do her shopping for her and whatever chores she needs done around the house. Other than that it's just been work and trying to get things ready in my RV for the dog shows next week. Looking forward to getting away for a few days. I got my parking pass today and with it was a notice that there have been quite a few rattlesnakes slithering around out there so we need to be careful to check under our RV's and outside pens before we put the dogs out in their pens to potty and exercise. The snakes are normally hibernating by now but we're having some warmer weather again so guess they are staying out late this year.

Got my first hospital bill today, oh joy, and still waiting to find out what if anything my insurance is paying on the ambulance bill which is over $1000.00. That was for a 10 minute ride and all they did was take vital signs. My IV's didn't get started till I got to the ER.

Hope everyone is well. I am off to check and see if I have any work yet for tomorrow, try to do a little before DWTS comes on. Miss you all. Wish I had an internet connection in the RV so I could chat in the evenings at the shows but I don't. I bought a new flat screen 22 inch TV/DVD player for in there and got a couple of movies I'd been wanting to see and hadn't as yet. Will check in again when I can. Hugs to all.

Last of last night's morning game drive photos. I really did enjoy watching Rexon and Alex dance. LOL! For those wondering, Alex was shooting at a neighboring location and Graham asked if he would like to go on a drive. So no, Alex isn't coming back, but it was fun while it lasted.

There seem to be an abundance of cam issues. This was on the Djuma ning: Update 1911: The fault in Hluvukani was more complex than Telkom had hoped and another expert was called in. No feedback since then, WE are waiting with you for more info .

It seems the break in the cable was not the only problem. The Telkom tech just visited Djuma and by testing the line from both sides (Djuma - Nelspruit) determined the problem lies in Hluvukani. He weas hopeful it would be a 'simple' power issue. In that case WE shou be on line again soon, but let's wait for further news.

From Africam: We have had a major lightning strike at EP - we will advise when we get a clearer idea of the damage.

New Djuma Update:

Update 2255: The Telkom Tech determined that the problem was the alignment between the different radios. As it is dark they were not allowed to climb the mast to correct this. It will be done first thing in the morning. So the AM drive will either start late or be cancelled depending on how early they get there.

Hi Shar and everyone. Just got back from my 4 day dog show circuit. My little Julie was Reserve Winner on 3 days and one day she was Best of Winners and Best of Breed and got her first championship point, so not a bad weekend. All the dogs are exhausted and so am I. It was nice to get away for a few days and see all my show buddes. Casper loved the motorhome, sat in the passanger seat on the way to the shows and watched all the tiny cars whiz by the motorhome.

I am headed in to take a long hot bath and then try for an early bedtime tonight.

The San Diego Zoo baby panda has a name. He is now officially Yun Zi (Son of Cloud). His mother is Bai Yun (White Cloud). The name I voted for came in second. Oh well.

Darn, guess you aren't here. I just wanted to chat a bit. Feeling a bit . .no, make that a lot depressed tonight. Chance came into season and I only have Sunday to meet my friend from CA in Yuma to hand her over to try a rebreeding. Problem is, she has a girl that is overdue to deliver puppies that hasn't delivered yet so she can't leave. So I will most likely have to miss out on the opportunity to try breeding her again. She was really wigged out from flying over in March so we decided not to put her on a plane again. There is one dog here in town I wouldn't mind breeding her with, but he will be away at shows when she is ready to be bred. I'm so depressed!!!
